Purifying & Decongesting Ritual

Clays such as kaolin and bentonite are super absorbent, which means they are able to extract unwanted impurities and excess oils from the skin.

This is because their structures are made up of millions of tiny platelets which have spaces in between. In water, these platelets arrange themselves into a ‘house of cards’ structure which has a large surface area.

The spaces between the ‘cards’ act as magnets to draw in impurities so they can be easily washed away, leaving the skin visibly decongested

Step 1

Apply a thin layer over the face – avoiding the delicate eye area. Relax for up to 10 minutes.

Step 2

Remove by rinsing well with water.
