Your Concern

Acne & Rosacia

Acne vulgaris (or simply acne) is a common human skin disease, characterised by areas of skin with seborrhea (scaly red skin), comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules (pinheads), nodules (large papules), pimples, and possibly scarring.

Acne Scarring

Acne scars are the result of inflammation within the dermis brought on by acne. The scar is created by the wound trying to heal itself resulting in too much collagen in one spot. Physical acne scars are often referred to as “ice pick” scars.

Ageing Hands

Ageing is no longer measured by crow’s feet and saggy jowls, but by the dorsal, or top part of the hands, where the skin is thinner and tends to crinkle over time.

Blackheads

Despite their name, some blackheads can be yellowish in colour. A comedo is a widened hair follicle which is filled with skin debris (keratin squamae), bacteria and oil (sebum).

Cellulite

Cellulite (also known as adiposis edematosa, dermopanniculosis deformans, status protrusus cutis, gynoid lipodystrophy, and orange peel syndrome) is the herniation of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue that manifests topographically as skin dimpling and nodularity.

Crows Feet

The skin on our faces stretches like a rubber band, thanks to a property called elasticity. This means that it can return to its original form after being pulled or compressed – pretty important when you think about how much we move our faces

Dark Circles

The skin of the eye area is very sensitive and fragile, easily revealing the signs of fatigue or age. Eye circles appear first at the corner of the eye and then spread on the contour which makes the eyes sad and tired.

Excessive Sweating

Everybody sweats, it’s a normal part of how our bodies regulate temperature. However, people with Excessive Sweating ( hyperhidrosis) produce sweat in amounts far greater than needed to control their temperature.

Forehead & Frown Lines

Forehead wrinkles and frown lines are one of the most frustrating signs of ageing. Some people get vertical lines between the eyebrows (often called “frown lines”), while others get lines right across the forehead, or if you’re really unlucky you end up with both.

Gummy Smile

When you smile, do you feel the appearance of your upper teeth is overshadowed by excessive gum tissue? Are you of the opinion that your upper teeth appear too short compared to the amount of gingival tissue displayed when you smile?

Hair Loss

Our hair loss programme uses a combination of Extra Hair Restorer by Simildiet Laboratories and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). Extra Hair Restorer induces growth, revitalising the follicles and augmenting the blood flow thus improving the nutrition and flow of oxygen to the hair roots.

Jowls

Some people think that the biggest telltale sign of a person’s true age is not face wrinkles or crow’s feet around their eyes, but it is actually sagging jowls. Sagging facial skin is an unattractive and obvious sign that a person is getting older.

Lip Lines

Over time as they age, men & women develop vertical upper lip lines in addition to facial wrinkles due to the loss of elasticity and and tone. As a result the area above the lips takes on a somewhat sunken appearance and gets wrinkled.

Loss of Volume

One of the key effects of ageing is that our faces lose volume. When we are young, our faces resemble a grape, full and voluminous, without any wrinkles. As we get older the volume in our face decreases and our faces resemble a sultana, the volume is lost and wrinkles and folds start to form.

Pigmentation

Uneven pigmentation of some sort affects most people, regardless of bio-ethnic background or skin color. Skin may either appear lighter, or darker than normal, or lack pigmentation at all

Poor Complexion

Skin can tell other people quite a bit about you. Beautiful and healthy skin gives the impression of vitality and a person who takes care of themselves. Unfortunately, if your skin’s appearance is less than optimal the conclusion the viewer will draw will probably not be favorable.

Scars

Scars are areas of fibrous tissue (fibrosis) that replace normal skin after injury. A scar results from the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. Thus, scarring is a natural part of the healing process.

Skin Blemishes

Blemishes refer to dark marks or skin discoloration. They usually develop on the face, back, chest or upper arms but generally can spread on any part of the body with hair follicles or pores.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks or striae (singular stria), as they are called in dermatology, are a form of scarring on the skin with an off-color hue. They are caused by tearing of the dermis, which over time may diminish, but will not disappear completely.

Sun Damage

Many people nowadays suffer from sun damaged skin, which can be the lead cause of wrinkles/fine lines, red vessels and hyper-pigmentation, presenting with a mottled skin tone and areas of abnormal pigmentation.  Ageing skin is accelerated by exposure to the sun and weather.

Sagging Jawline

As we age, some people get two little indentations that occur on the jaw line directly below the outside corners of their mouth, from the sagging down of lower cheek skin.

Thinning Lips

If you look in the mirror and wish you could have younger, fuller lips, you’re not alone. When we age, our lips tend to lose their colour and become thin.

Thread Veins

Thread veins are very fine veins that are often visible on the cheeks, nose and legs. They are very common, and can be red, blue or purple in colour.

Uneven Nose Shape

The nose is the central part of a person’s face. So, it only takes the slightest of flaws to cause someone an emotionally significant degree of dissatisfaction with their physical appearance.

Wrinkles & Ageing Skin

A wrinkle, also known as a rhytide, is a fold, ridge or crease in the skin. Skin wrinkles typically appear as a result of ageing processes such as glycation, habitual sleeping positions, loss of body mass, or temporarily, as the result of prolonged immersion in water.
